Italian Salad Dressing

Italian Salad Dressing

  • 1/4 cup organic, raw apple cider vinegar

  • 1/4 cup organic, extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 tsp. RealTaste Amore Seasoning

  • 1/4 cup Water

  • 2 tsp. organic, pure maple syrup, or honey

  • 1 tsp. organic, dijon mustard

 

  1. Mix together ingredients and store in the fridge.

  2. Shake before using as it tends to separate.

  3. Healthy Olive Oil becomes thicker as it chills, if it's too thick to shake, let it come to room temperature before using.  To speed it up, you can place container in a bowl of warm water.  

TIPS

 

You can emulsify this dressing in a blender by mixing all the ingredients together except for the olive oil, then gradually stream in oil while blender is running; however, the extra virgin olive oil contains delicate fat that can become bitter from the friction created from the blender, so blend as briefly as possible.   

 

For a zesty version, add crushed red pepper flakes, or cayenne pepper to taste.
