Chocolate Banana Smoothie
1 cup raw milk
1 cup spinach, optional
3 Tbsp. raw cacao, or to taste
3 Tbsp. pure maple syrup, or to taste
2 Tbsp. nut butter, optional
1 tsp. vanilla
1-2 frozen medium bananas, sliced
Shredded unsweetened coconut and cacao nibs, optional
1. Blend milk and spinach in blender until smooth.
2. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
3. Top with coconut and cacao, if desired.
2 heaping tablespoons of raw nuts can be substituted for the nut butter.
The more bananas you use, the thicker it will be. If you want it really thick like soft serve ice cream, you can use 3. It makes for a nice healthy dessert.
